About Jessica Bleasby
Since completing her fine art degree at the Winchester School of Art in 2006, Jessica has been a practicing artist, exhibiting works from galleries and fairs across the south of England. Jessica's work is collected and sold nationally and internationally and she now works from her art studio in Tivoli, Cheltenham.
Jessica predominantly works in oils, producing paintings that celebrate and explore the endless possibilities of the technical process. She is known to combine contrasting painting techniques to produce works that display both expressive, rugged qualities and detailed, realist elements. In the past works elements such as butterflies, fish and water droplets have been painted over rugged abstract backgrounds to produce depth and intrigue.
Jessica's works vary dramatically with treatment from photorealism to pure abstraction but the consistent theme is her understanding and passion for color, form, composition and nature.
